Raspberry Plants
Raspberries are delicious and super high in antioxidants. By nature, raspberries are delicate and fragile and don’t do well during shipping if picked and shipped to when ripe. This means that you’ve likely never experienced a truly fresh, ripe raspberry unless you’ve had one off the vine. Growing your own berry bushes means that you get to experience a true, ripe raspberry!
Raspberry plants do well trained on trellises and make a lovely addition to any garden or flowerscape.
All raspberries are self fertile, so you can enjoy one plant or one of each! Each of our 6 varieties were selected specifically with North Carolina weather in mind—humid summers and cold winters, and they do well in our climate.
Raspberries will produce the most in full sun, but they also do well with a half-day of sun. They produce 1-2 quarts of fruit per year on average, depending on location and variety. Plants are expected to be 4-7 feet tall and send out lateral runners which expand the raspberry plant each season, if not pruned back.
All varieties are sold in 1 and 2 gallon pots.
